Short answer first: I don’t use AI in my personal design or illustration work, full stop.
Client work: I discuss the vetting process of submitted information with a client if they request the use of AI or have AI generated information as part of a creative brief.
Some love it, some hate it, some view it as essential. My view: like any other tool, judicious and appropriate use of AI is situational. Automating processes? Great. A stand-in or shortcut for human thought and creativity? Nah, I’m good.
